Yep, posting that first photo is kind of a "rite of passage" here :)

These should help. Long term I'd suggest using a "hosting site".

Good luck, and welcome.

How you like that Ruger Hooter. Looks nice. To answer your question, I got a maverick 88 12 gauge. $160 at Academy. Brother-in-law is over a school district plumbing dept and lopped it off to 20" and I put a crown on with a dremel tool. Got tired of putting one in the safe every morning for work so it stays out unless the grandkids are over. No one here but the wife and I so any collateral damage would be the SOB's buddy.

since I cant get this thing to work properly, I'll tell you. 100+ rounds of 00, Mossberg 500 customized, 357 mag, with tac light for the wife, 2 sets of handcuffs 2 knives I and a baton.

I looked at that ruger you have Monday and haven't made a decision between it or a Glock G-22.

1. Glock 19 with Night Sights, & M6X laser/125 lumen light combo. Loaded with 15rds Speer Gold Dot 124gr +P.
2. Solarforce tactical flashlight, set to strobe at 300 lumens.
3. LED 3 D cell Mag Light.
4. Gerber folder, magnetized to a large speaker magnet on the side of the safe.
5. Push Light inside safe.

I keep my phone in front of the safe on the charger at night. In total darkness I have practiced to the point where I can operate the push-button combo in about three seconds to access my weapon. The first thing I see is my tritium night sights glowing.

4Runner, what brand of safe is that. Looks pretty sturdy. Digital 10 digit dial pad or finger sequence opening?
It's a Stack-On. This model:

Can be set for any combo you choose, audible beep or silent mode. Battery powered with key backup. I've had it for over a year now & never had the batteries go bad. When they do get low it's supposed to start blinking. Very Happy with it.

Honestly don't know where we are headed right now in the world of politics. I want more and need more weapons and ammo before this gets twisted. Who knows what will happen since the crazed man entered the store in arizona?

Yep, pretty well prepared. But you just never know...

At my house if they get past the large, cranky dogs they'll meet a Mossy 500, backed up with a S & W 5906 with 15+1 of 9MM, with 4 more mags on standby...that's just the bedroom. You've got me thinking though...may park a M1 Carbine in the closet with 3 or 4 30-rounders.

Nice setup 1985 4runner, where is your fire extinguisher and speaking of safes is your's bolted down? I always wanted a wall safe and put this one in recently, not a lot of space but plenty for a couple handguns and small valuables-

Weighs 40 lbs., fits between the studs, also has keys and was only 79 bucks on ebay.
