Best local ammo prices

I searched for this topic and didnt find anything so if its already been posted I apologize.

I am about to start slowly stockpiling .45 ammo (50 or 100 rnds weekly depending on bills/paycheck/ammo prices etc.) so I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread dedicated to local ( "local" to everybody, not just Tupelo) ammo prices for those of us who dont reload (yet) and do the same thing. Though I suppose reloading consumables could be included on the list as well. Listing how often they have certain calibers in stock may be a good idea also since some places (wally world) seem to run out quickly and/or rarely restock certain calibers.Maybe we can share some info and save a few bucks in gas...thats more $$ for ammo 8)

.45 Auto is what I'm looking for in Tupelo, I'll try and check for some common calibers while I'm out searching so I can contribute something

I've been all over central MS and the best prices I can find are 100 round packs of Winchester White Box at wally world on lakeland. .45 ACP is $32. If you travel up to the delta you can get delta precision pretty cheap, but if you have it shipped it ruins the low price.

Re: Best local ammo prices

Just left Wal Mart on hwy 18 in Jackson (Yes I do value my life....it was a weak moment) I bought 2 boxes of Federal .223 55g 100 count for 34.95 each. There were 2 more on the shelf if anyone is interested, they will be gone by tomorrow. They also have 1 can of Federal 55g 470 count for 165.00. Both at FMJ. You better go tonight if you want them.

Pearl Walmart had 5 of the 100 ct boxes of Federal 45's this afternoon. $28.97 a box.
