Who has the best prices on 7.62x54? Just looking for surplus stuff, nothing fancy. I did notice that there are a lot of different kinds out there. Is there any certain kind I need to stay away from?

IIRC.... All surplus 7.62x54R ammo is corrosive.

Thanks guys, was trying to find a place just to buy 100 rounds or so but the shipping doesn't pan out. Guess I'll have to break down and but a case or two. From the 20+ websites i've visited it's cheaper to get 2 cases shipped than it is to get a few 20 round boxes shipped. Thanks again on all the info.

Remember that the surplus stuff is corrosive and its real cheap cause there is so much of it out there. The new production stuff isnt bad price wise, but its much higher than the surplus. If you want some surplus i can sell you a little bit or i can sell you some wolf new production non corrosive... i have plenty of both.

There's a guy on here selling cans for $75. That's a good price if you don't have to drive far to buy it.
