What does anyone know about reworked Lugers from Germany that basically were 9mm used in WWI and after the treaty were re-arsonaled cleaned of all military markings, renumbered and exported?

They were generally used by police and will have 1920 as a date. Some of the Lugers turned out in this series used old parts that have been refurbished.
