I have a pair of Nikon10X50's. Way too heavy to carry while hunting so I usually leave them in the truck. I borrowed a pair of Leupold 6x30's that were very good but I wanted just a little more magnification. I'm in the market for a moderately priced pair; say under $300. I would also like them to be less than 25 ozs. The lighter the better as long as quality isn't affected by the weight cutting.

What are you using? How do you like them?

I have the NIKON monarch atb in 8x42. For me personally this is the perfect size hunting binos. These are very high quality glasses. Very bright and clear and easy on your eyes when doing prolonged glassing. A bud has some Zeiss binos and they are a little better in nearly all aspects, but they are also a smooth grand. The swaro el's would be my dream nocs. You can nearly see in the dark with those dudes! The NIKON monarch atb's are hard to beat for their all around value in my opinion.

Zeiss 7x42 they are about 10 to 15 years old. They are a great pair of binos. I have recently looked through the Swarvarski EL right at dark and its amazing at the improvements in glass over the last few years.

Zeiss and Swarovski are out of my budget even if they are the best on the market. Right now I'm leaning toward the Leupold Katmai 8x32. 19ozs, Phase and L-coated prisms, Multi-coated lens and that Leupold lifetime warrenty are pushing me in this direction. Now all I need to do is find a pair to look through before plunking down my cash.
