Anyone bought any AR parts kits from them. How was your kits quality and function. I recently got their AR10 26" kit. I have never been more disappointed. The bolt and carrier are so still that the gun won't go into battery. It won't feed (and I'm using $50 armalite brand mags). I believe all the problems are in the bolt carrier group. I also had problems with the lower parts also. Couple pins were too big and the mag catch won't hold the mag. I used some dpms parts I had to complete it and get it functioning. Maybe I got a bad one but if I was running that company someone would be getting fired for shipping these parts. Now I gotta disassemble the lower to ship it all back.

Oh and don't get me started on the burrs around the gas port and the finish..spray paint would look better.

I have an ar 15 put together with their kit, never had any problems and accuracy is wonderful. I personally have built or helped build at least 5 guns with blackthone kits and the only problem I have ever seen was with the charging handle on one rifle was stiff until I.worked it about 50 times. Maybe something went together wrong in yours

I built my AR with a Blackthorne kit, everything went together fine, no problems at all. Have only ever had one FTF in 1000 rounds and that was an ammo problem, not the rifle.

I had to swap the mag catch in mine because the spring is too small. I dropped a dpms spring and catch in it and that works now. I compared the springs side by side and the blackthorne is about 3/16 to short.

Well I sent my upper and bolt assembly back. Blackthorne claimed nothing was wrong with it but replaced everything anyway. I got it back last night and I have to say the function is 90% better. It is still tight on lock up but I'm hoping with a few rounds through it it will lock up everytime instead of just most of the time.

Pros- they gladly accepted the return and exchanged it without a hitch.

Cons- I had to pay to ship it back
The finish is very poor on the upper.
