Browning A-Bolt in .270. Customer got it in and asked to sonic clean it and get a patch unstuck from the Bore. I had to drill out one of the rusted in Scope Ring Screws to get the Scope off. I could see a white patch jammed up against the interior end of the BOSS System. A cleaning rod wouldn’t push it out. I measure the Rod against the Barrel length and there was about 5” of material stuck in the Barrel, and it wasn’t moving! What the heck! The only way I could get it out was by slowly and carefully drilling into the center of the material and pulling some out a little at a time. Until there was enough removed that a cleaning rod was used to push the remaining large chunk out. Neither the Magazine or any ammo came in with it for a function test or test fire.
