i see good and bad reviews on these scopes anybody use them or have any opinons
putting it on marlin 17hmr

I have a BSA Deer Hunter 3-9x50 on my Stevnes 223 and it has held up great. Fell off the 4wheeler goin 40mph and wasnt hurt. It rides in my truck all the time and is always falling over or falling off the back seat. First time it fell off the seat the scope landed on my 22 pistol and has a very small crack in the front glass but you cant see it from 4-9 power.

Its not bad for a $45 scope that takes that kinda abuse and still holds zero. Killed crows out to 300yds and a few coyotes out to 350yds.
