Been a busy few days, I was all caught up then I had 7 shotguns show up in 2 days ranging from a Stoeger to a Kreighoff K80. Few rebuilds, some adjustable butt pads and a few repair jobs . Thankful for the business.

Just a few pics from some of them

Yeah, Dad was a smith also. I grew up on the weekends at Gunsmith Inc cleaning rental guns. Mr Tim would pay me in 22ammo ha! Then I worked at BRANDON Sporting arms with David while his shop was open. Just got to where I have time to do it more. I don’t really advertise it much.

I see someone else uses blue tape. Nice guns. What is the white material on the table, a foam maybe??

Just old towels , wife replaced all of our towels about a month ago ( family of 6 ) she was about to chunk them .. had to stop her

ETA - I have found that a small piece of styrofoam is good for sticking screws and pins etc in to keep them from moving and also to keep track of the order of them from how they came out when working on complicated/unusual guns that you don’t see much.

I don,t throw away t-shirts anymore. I attack them with sizzors for cleaning, polishing and oil rags. There is plenty work out there, treat people good and they will come to you. Good luck.

This week consisted of not one but 3 Krieghoff K-80’s ... nervous is an understatement .

All 3 got new pads , one got an adjustable pad plate and fit a carrier barrel for tubes to another. Krieghoff keeps their tolerances very tight so luckily it wasn’t much to fit the new barrel. Gorgeous wood and scroll on these things!!!
