What guns have you bought that you wish you had not?

Wife really wanted a little pistol she saw, a Jiminez Arms JA9, 9 mm. Worse than a saturday night special. I still got it, but am thinking about melting it down. It is beyond worthless.

Fortunately I don't have one myself but my best friend bought a Jimenez 9mm (don't know what model) probably 4-5 years ago. He has tried hard to get rid of it with no luck what so ever. None of the regular gun shops will trade for it. the pawn shops will not give him much more than enough to buy dinner out.
He is definitely suffering from buyers remorse.

Can't contribute much to this topic. I have purchased many guns over the years that did not live up to expectations; however, most of them actually turned out to be good trading "fodder" at a later date!!

Remington mod. 597 .22 I bought it as my sons first rifle and it was a joke. FTF, FTE, you name it this gun could mess it up. I gave about $120 for it and traded it to the pawn shop for $100 toward an ann. edition Ruger 10-22. Poor pawn shop. :(

Fellows I bought a Ruger 77, 300 win mag boltaction and a bushnell 3x9x40 scope. Been used a lot or put through a lot according to the wood work. I gave 250.00 for it. In your honest opinion, did I get taken. I have never had any dealings with this caliber of gun. Also what is the most common range of this caliber?

As I was going through the safe today, I did run across a pistol that I wish I had not purchased -- S&W 40 Sigma -- the worse pistol I have ever owned .... Bought it about 1.5 - 2 yrs ago and it has been to the range twice!! I swore that it would never go back with me again~~

I have not bought any that I did not like. Some were better than others, but I will never sell a gun again. Every time I did I have regretted it.
The cheapest gun I bought was from a guy that had a single shot stevens 16 gaguge that the barrel was bent towards the end. I gave him 5 dollars for it. I cut the barrel off to 18 1/2 inches and cut the center of the stock out and drilled two holes on the inside that I could put two shells in. I used that gun for a snake gun on our land around the pond. It was my version of the snake charmer if you remember those guns. I still have it. I could actually break the gun down and it would fit in the glove box of the Old Chevy pickup I used to own several years ago. Yes, it is legal length.
