My C & R came today. For you current licensees, who are your favorite vendors? I need some places to get started.

Midway gives you a dealer discount,send one to Classic Arms they have some pretty good deals sometimes.

Where is a good place to find if a firearm is a curio or relic? What are the hoops we must jump through to buy one from you Shoe? BTW, congrats!

A "C&R" is a license to collect (purchase) certain firearms without going through a regular FFL. It is NOT a dealers license, although occasional sales are allowed to maintain your collection.

Generally, guns over 50 years old are eligible. More here...

As far as "hoops", not many to get your own. Info in the link and from ATF website. Pretty easy & pretty cheap.

Downside: You're in bed with the Government...bothers some folks.

Thanks for the info. The bed wasn't to bad for a year or two but these last 200+ and a bunch of non-paying, gettin' a check bed bugs done moved in.
