Why don't you tell us what he did wrong Other than the fact that a 45 ACP would not have penetrated even that far and a 30 carbine would have penetrated further than the 9mm round, I think he took a real chance that I would not recommend anyone doing. Help us out on what you saw, I would be interested in what I missed that you are trying to get us to see. Thanks bullet

Ahh, where to begin?? First, from his language, I'd say he dropped out of school way to early. Also apparent from his trailer and his willingness to discharge a weapon inside just for kicks. I'm asking myself why he tested at point blank range with target ammo. Additionally, I'm more impressed than he thinks I should be that the round made it through over 2 inches of a fairly tough target. I think it performed pretty darned well, considering. I wouldn't want to take the hit and I'd bet his ***** a$$ wouldn't, either. I could have shown him a more impressive test proving his point at most any shooting range. From my experiences, 9mms have a difficult time flipping heavy steel targets, whereas 45s seem to slap them around pretty well. Does that make me feel inadquet with my 9s? No, not at all. I know that if I do my job, they'll do theirs. Guess he can call me a ****, huh? Sure hope he doesn't do it to my face, because we might just see how lethal a 9mm really is.

Still like to know what you spotted, though. While I wasn't impressed with his conclusions, I couldn't spot anything in particular that he did wrong. Please enlighten us.

Well I wonder how many bad guys are wearing decks of cards to stop bullets, and how many idiots are gonna take a 9mm with them to hunt hogs? I carry a 9mm for many reasons and I sure ain't no ****. I guarantee a couple of well placed shots with a 9mm would stop this pencil necked geek in his tracks.

I have shot a handgun in my house a few times (in the city). I was in an interior hallway with all doors closed (reduce sound to outside) and shooting into a stack of phonebooks. Both function testing and penatration testing. However, after 2 rounds I would stop and open the doors to ventilate the area.

While I am not a proponent of the 9mm I dont think there is anything wrong with them I just prefer a .45. Penetrating 3 inches into compressed cardstock isnt too shabby for a handgun anyway.

Maybe he will keep doing dumb crap and earn himself a darwin award
