What does the law say about carrying a handgun in your car traveling from state to state. Going to Tennessee real soon and would like to take my 45 with me.

Must have your permit to carry concealed in your vehicle in TN & AR. I'm not sure about AL & LA.

As long as you have your carry permit you can OC or CC in TN without any problems. Just abide by the TN laws while in TN. Watch out for the circle/slash No Guns signs. They are legal now and you can be charged whether it's a restaurant or a furniture store. If they are not posted you can go into restaurants that serve alcohol with the gun but you can't even have a drop.
