Still have my LC2 set up but have been looking hard at plate carrier set ups recently. I too like the OD or the coyote. After relying on Vietnam era mag holders, “H” harness, canteens, IFAK, and ass pack for years. (Still carries it hunting, minus the mag pouches) I recently ordered one of these:
Condor Outdoor Modular Chest Set https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01F5W328Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_pdqLEbNXMAWFW
And this:

I’m gonna get my kydex kit out and make a holster for my Glock 19 and another for my P365, to go with it. I’m not sure what would make me wear this, other than for training, but it wouldn’t be pretty. It is far more comfortable, and less complicated, than the LBV the Marine Corps issued me in the ‘90s. I hated that crap so much I never used it when the decision was mine to make.
I chose olive drab because that’ll match my large ALICE pack with frame and because multicam cost more.
That one stacks them double, I’m thinking that if some some reason I’m shooting at something very far off I’ll go prone, as trained, and that would make that one less comfortable, than the one I went with.I was just looking at that rig and this one it has a pistol holster built in https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007VHHJFE/ref=psdc_3222126011_t1_B01F5W328Y
I thinking just a light weight chest rig. That one stacks them double, I’m thinking that if some some reason I’m shooting at something very far off I’ll go prone, as trained, and that would make that one less comfortable, than the one I went with.
I’m still debating on wether to chest mount or strong side mount a holster. I’m leaning towards chest mounting the P365 with strong side presentation. If I have a long gun the sidearm is less of a consideration, in my mind, and I want it all to be as light as possible. All of this keeping in mind that I will be unlikely to operate in any sort of official capacity. So, I’ll be looking to avoid trouble, not looking for trouble. Movement is just as important, if not more so, as being able to project force, IMO. So, keeping it light and simple is my priority.
In the vehicle I have a rifle bag that has the mag pouches on it. I keep them full and another in the weapon. A thirty rounder in the weapon. Because I know that plastics might weaken under extreme heat I only use aluminum GI type mags in that capacity. Otherwise, I tend to prefer PMags. On person?
Gcode AR/pistol carrier or Fab Defense mag carrier.
In vehicle?
•Drum mag in it. 3 30 rounders in plate carrier.
•30 round in it. 3 30 rounders in Blackhawk sling carrier with FAK gear in other side.
optinal carry
4 30 rounders in a Velocity Systems Mayflower
No road trips or low life that need killing but if I do get out I'll swing by and get you. What's up, Bubba? Planning a trip through South Jackson? I'll ride shotgun...literally. I'm taking a 12 ga.
Or is one of your daughters bringing home a new fellow you're trying to keep in line?
Drum is magpul. Figure if I need to grab it I'll be dumping rounds before I start humping very far so that will shed weight. I'm not currently toting it by hand why I went with a drum. Spares are all PMAGs with the tab on the top to relieve feed lip pressure. I check AR regularly to make sure not rusting in spots and to keep her lubed, I go heavy with thicker stuff so lasts longer. In the vehicle I have a rifle bag that has the mag pouches on it. I’ve seen very few M16A2 or AR15 malfunctions that weren’t maintenance related or because of bent magazine feed lips. Thinking that polymer shouldn’t suffer that issue and the fact that the Marine Corps chose PMags is why I mostly use those.
I sat down and loaded all mine last weekend. All 4 of themI need to load a bunch more, of mine.

If you do get some more, I recommend on of these to keep them in. They are pretty handy.Dang all this talk about mags, got me itching to order more. Got too much loose ammo that needs a home
LOL, go ahead and laugh. I have a old black fanny pack that was my daughters years ago. It holds 3 magazines easily and is easy to grab regardless what I'm wearing or not. What does everyone use to carry extra AR magazines? Chest rig? Belt holder?
Those links work with the Amend mags?Velcro under back seat, two 30rd pmags and 2 30rds doubled with these Magpul MagLink M2 M3 30-Round PMAG Mag Coupler Polymer Black
I ain’t planning on leaving my truck and if so.......if you have time to worry over a mag carrier/mag belt/vest......you have time to shove two doubles mags in your waist band.
