A few 230gn round nose and a couple garbage cans lol

Had to fancy up a few of the garbage cans.
    IMG_4575.JPG
Sprinkled some green on them. I think they look.....neato lol

I also did these 9mm Saturday, they're now sized.

Now to load those and start sizing the 45s to fill all those new to me cases I have.

210gn from pure lead ingots (roof flashing/vent) sweetened with bar solder (mold fill out purposes). Makes for an impressive opening lol
MP Molds says 220 with wheel weight alloy and 230 with the five point pins in the mold. They also send the mold plugs to make a solid at 250. Not interested in a solid tho so I've never used it.
I'll try and find my expanded sample lol

Nice , but a 250 hp like that would be even sweeter.

    I don't think you'd need it!

Ellis, you are on to something. You can sell ammo to women that matches their nails. Heck I like them.

My daughter wants pink bullets......I told her once she works one of my 9mm pistols or my AR....I'll make her all the pink ammo she can send down range.

    Powdercoat. Polyester essentially.

Awesome. I'll bring another few hundred pounds of lead including some pure on my next trip down. Don't forget to hold some back for Shrek's shotgun loads out of my pile. I'll send him a bill

I'm done casting these 230gn. I figure you'll be needing more than just those lol
Got some semiwadcutter molds in 45. I think one in 200 and the other in 250. Want some of those?

You're the dealer, I'm the addict. I'll take what you gimme and thank you for it. If it goes bang and racks the slide I like it. If it don't go bang or rack the slide I'll just throw the pistol and lay hands on em

I'm looking on mp molds for a different.452 mold. Possibly a 8cav.....around 160/180gn projectile. Something I/we can push fast.

I'll try it. Never really shot much other than .230gr ball .45's but I'm up for it

Sounds like you’re trying to make your 45 into a 9mm. Lol

Just a variety of projectile. Plus......that would make the round even cheaper to produce lol

Maybe a dumb question, but does powder coating eliminate the need to ALOX or pan-lube the bullets? Also, is anything needed other than the powder & a toaster oven? I already have a spare toaster oven I'm not using.
