Hey Guys,
I have been thinking about getting an "EVIL BLACK RIFLE!" for a while, and just found what seems to be a decent deal on what I've been looking for, AR15-a2, built by Century with Colt upper, 20 in. barrel and furniture, $700.
So, all you AR gurus, is this a good deal and does Century build a reliable rifle, or should I pass on this?

I have owned and fired two of these and had no problems. Cosmetics may not be as good as others but performance was excellent in the two that I owned.

Save about $400 more dollars and buy a Rock River AR-15A2 NM rifle. This price can be had by a dealer.

Or build one. I have all but the upper (and I want a RRA specialized upper, so it is taking awhile to get from the dealer), and am only about $250 into it, and it is entirely rock river. Class 3 weapons' website is awesome, and have great products, and you can luck up and find RRA parts on gunbroker, guns america, etc. If you build one that wasn't all one brand (pieced it together), you can do it for less than $700, and have a customized rifle.
