Apologies if this has been posted before but I saw this on another forum and know there are quite a few CMP Kimbers here.
Anyone who has a M-82 from the cmp should check the cocking lug in their bolt. They are soft, too soft they need to be hardened. They are left hand thread an allen wrench will unscrew it. A friend's gun which he used a lot was worn down badly. I just checked my gun and it showing signs of galling also.. I've used it very little, less than 500 rounds.. so I hardened it with a tourch.. check your guns and fix them before they get/go bad
