I recently bought one of these for my Glock 23 for cc. I like it because it conceals very nicely under a tshirt in the summer and can be taken off very easily if im using a holster. I never carry it with one in the chamber because the trigger is exposed. I was just curious what everyone else's opinion was on them. For those who don't know what i'm talking about here is the link to their website.

I'd rather spend money for a quality iwb holster (or one that does a descent job of covering the trigger guard). I always have one in the chamber so a clipdraw is not an option.

When I first got the gun I bought a cheap iwb holster from bass pro but it wasn't any good. Then I gave the clipdraw a try cause I figured it was only $20 so it couldn't hurt to try. I recently bought a Don Hume iwb holster that I love but it can be bulky when I'm not wearing a jacket or something.

Cheap rarely equals good. For a good quality CC holster look into a crossbreed supertuck. At $70-80 it's as good as it gets without breaking the bank. There are also other variations like the Comptac Minotaur and Tucker the answer. A Galco is ok...but I'd never buy one from a shop because they're priced waaaaay to high for what they are.

I have never had a clipdraw, and don't think I'll ever try one, but if that's what works for you then go for it.

Personally I'd never consider carrying without one in the pipe. Chambering a round might equal that extra couple of seconds that determine life or death. Clip draws seem ok for double action triggers but may be not for Glocks. If you're set on the clip draw you may want to consider another carry gun. If you like your Glock you may want to consider a better way to carry it.

Carry guns are a lot like underwear. Everybody has their own preference. I have a tough time carrying full size guns. If you like Glocks, the subcompacts can be concealed OWB with just a t-shirt.

Yea i've been wanting to get a G27 too but don't have the $$ right now. I probably won't use the Clipdraw that much I just thought it was interesting and worth a shot at just $20. Thanks for all the feedback guys.

I have carried in this manner with my Kel-Tec P32. I usually pocket carry, but sometimes, loose shorts wont hold up with a weapon in my pocket. BTW, I am blessed with No Acetol disease!

I had one on a J frame. It was just ok. Took it off after a few months and never put it back on. Nothing wrong with it, just not to my liking.

I vote NO on the clipsdraw. YES for a supertuck. They are best than slice bread IMO. No Timeouts when u need to use your gun, so load to the max w/ one in the pipe.
