How has carrying concealed changed your clothing choices and/or dressing habits?

I normally have on a buttoned shirt, so that hasn't changed any. The only thing i've changed is wearing pants that are looser if I'm carrying IWB.

Good question , I find myself leaving my gun in my truck more and more because I have to wear a tucked in polo shirt to work w/ means I wear a tucked polo shirt most of the time . But on the weekends it goes in waist band w/ whatever i'm wearin , usually a t shirt untucked and shorts.

I wear shorts almost year around. I'm the hottest natured person I know. I do wear pants/jeans when its really cold but I despise them. And usually a tee shirt with a loose button up over it. Good in-the-pocket cover.

Shorts and a T whenever possible - which happens to be about 98% of the time during the spring/summer/fall ... winter comes the jeans and shirts (usually not tucked) - when tucked a light vest ..

I carry either IWB or OWB, normally the latter, since it is way more comfortable than IWB for me.

Because of my faith, I choose to dress in certain ways, and those have made dressing "around the gun" an easy process. Wearing a T under an untucked front button shirt has proven to be the best concealment. WalMart has some decent looking (not too gooberish so as to keep the better half happy) short sleeve front button shirts that also conceal pretty well. Two of them I got as part of the obligatory "walmart walk."

I try to wear shorts with more pockets now. I usually try to pocket carry. I do believe in

being discreet! And, discreet usually means carrying a smaller weapon.
+1 on carrying small. During the winter month we have i have noproblem concealing a full size auto.
By the way i ain't no small fellow. Lots of room to hide things!!!

I've tried IWB and didn't care for it too much. Since then I usual carry a baby glock in a good paddle holster with a heavy tshirt untucked. It conceals pretty well. I've also started wearing 5.11 Tactical pants. They are nice for carrying extra ammo and a pocket pistol for a secondary gun.

Love the fall and spring when I can wear a light jacket to conceal. Summer is tough, as I have to wear tucked. I sometimes wear my tuckable Tucker Tx Heritage, but must admit I often wear the stinkin' P3AT in a wallet holster for comfort. Need to keep telling myself, "ComfortING, not comfortABLE."

Ok. The concensus is that most carry smaller arms during summer, due to lighter clothing. I am all for carry what you are comfortable with, but why sacrifice fire power for clothing. I would like all of yall to spend a few minutes looking at society. Most people are oblivious to others. Watch them. They are so wrapped up in thier own little worlds that they never even realize that other people inhibit this planet. Being discrete is a lot easier than you think. Besides, concealed means not in plain sight. Your average thugs is not gonna be on the lookout for "toters" before committing the crime!
Who exactly are you concealing your firearm from? I'm just making the point that most of society is ignorant to what goes on around them. I know a few members here that have my same thoughts, carry what you are comfortable with and cover it up. Most of yall are too self conscious about concealed carry. RELAX. The average "Joe" has no clue that carrying a fun us even legal. I'm about to go to Wal-Mart and I will show you pics later of what is actually possible.

You're right. Most people are completely oblivious to what's going on around them. You could probably walk into Wal-Mart with a live chicken on your head and most people would never notice. However, SOME people do notice. That could cause you to lose the tactical advantage. If by some slim chance a would-be criminal notices that you're carrying that means that YOU are going to get it first. If he makes you before you make him then it's gonna be a bad day for you. If you do cover your weapon properly, on the other hand, that gives you the upper hand. When / if the threat's attention isn't on you that gives you the perfect opportunity to shut him down. I don't know about ya'll but I want every advantage that I can get if the fecal matter hits the air distribution unit.

Ok no pics from in Wal-Mart. Wifey thought that was uncalled for. These were taken upon return. I even had to flag down the neighbor (local S.O. investigator) and asked if I looked "suspect". He said nope. And I explained what I was doing he said Hmmmmmmm.
Now I WILL admit this was not the most comfortable set up, but it is proof that it can be done. Now for all of yall that say "i can see this gun or that gun" you are aware of what's going on and know what to look for. The average criminal is not going to be looking for armed citizens. Now if you think you are going to get caught up in something like "oceans eleven" then you should go about thing a little different. On a whole though, I think most criminals will be to nervous to notice a slight bulge (which could be a cell phone) under a shirt.
I have carried daily since age 22. I am now 37. I have never been "made" or repremanded for brandishing a weapon. I have carried around police, attorneys, judges, and all other walks of life. If you are nervous about carrying concealed then you need to get confident or go UNPROTECTED. It only takes a couple of trips out in public while armed to get used to this. So please don't say you CANT carry such and such gun because of you appearal. If you are more worried about what you look like then you don't need a firearm, you need a MIRROR.

These are the 3 firearms I just carried in Wal-Mart along with spare mags and knife.

This is how they were worn.
G27 in a crossbreed on my right side.
G23 in a Bianchi OWB on my left side.
Taurus titainium snub nose 38 in front.
