How long does it normally take to get ammo from CMP? I placed my order on the 17th and shipping date still shows TBD.

Last two orders I got took about 3 - 4 weeks. Captain, I think you mean "2010" not "2009" :)

I'm patiently waiting, but seeing that money in my gun account makes me feel like I should be buying something.
I'll swear I've seen five dozen posts from you saying "you need to reload" or words to that effect. Now you're waiting on ammo??? What's up with that?

I finally got off my lazy butt and finished my first Garand loads. Still waiting to try them. Added up the costs and it's darn close to the Greek stuff, hence my decision to order more myself. If it's not more accurate it's not worth the bother...unless I find some cheaper bullets.
46 gr IMR 4895, Win LR primer, '72 HXP case, 168gr SMK (hence the high cost)

Shoe, not to shoot you or anyone else down, but...........

Until you can personally out shoot surplus ammo (accuracy wise), and the cost of jacketed bullets are so high, I suggest buying "surplus" FMJ bullets if you want to reload. This is for iron-sight shooting. Optics is a whole different story......

.
No argument from me on that. Had to try some anyway. Inquiring minds want to know. :) I've got a long ways to go before I can outshoot the Greek stuff.

We've seen your "stash", I doubt you run out before it finally arrives. :)
