CMP Garand Barrel Came Today --

CMP was offering new in wrap (NIW) Garand barrels for $125 shipped .. decided I needed one just in case!! It arrived today and I am more than pleased!! Got Springield Armory dated March 1952 ... they were not kidding about being new in wrap .. every inch wrapped in geased waxed cloth just as it came from the factory in 1952!!

Do you have to get it headspaced or anything or is it just drop her in and shoot?

They are short chambered cut .. have to be reamed and headspaced when installed ..
