I don't do safe queens, if I buy it...it's gonna get shot. Don't care how old it is, or if a collector will pay less if it's fired...they're all going to my family after I'm taking my final dirt nap. If they're mad because I fired a oldie, I won't care...I'll be dead LOL.

I am somewhat moody when it comes to buying guns. One day I like this one and the next day it is something else. VARITY is the key word for me. NO safe queens here .... they were built to shoot and I make sure they get the opportunity!! I do have this little nitch for old US military arms ... I do have some that I have not shot -- however, they have been shot many, many times before.

I'm a shooter as well. I only have 2 "queens"...a Ruger Blackhawk 7.5 50th anniversary edition...its is breautiful

The other my father's Remington Model 7 .308...permanently retired after his death...To my knowledge He never missed a hog or deer with it and I don't wanna ruin his perfect score

SHOOTER..... Buy 'em, try 'em.... keep those I love, trade or sell those that don't cut the mustard..... I like variety, I like to shoot, I like to hunt, I like them accurate, I like them to look pretty and perform flawlessly..... I started out with a preference for rifles (and still like to shoot and hunt with them), but have recently started leaning towards handguns - since I got some high quality auto's....I am quickly turning into a big 1911 fan - have 2 and want more

I am a SHOOTER with a COLLECTION of firearms to SHOOT.......

No Safe Queens, just guns that don't get shot that much. Can't take them all on each trip to the range.......

I don't think I could stand owning a gun that I couldn't shoot (for investment reasons). I do forget I have certain guns from time to time until I see them "hiding" in the safe......

True, some guns rise in value even if shot....... some don't. I got lucky as "investment" goes with my SMGs (which I shoot as much as cost of ammo will allow).

Do I own any HIGH $$$$ "fancy" guns?....... NO. Do I own too many guns?............... NO ! ! ! Do I enjoy EACH AND EVERY gun I own?..... H*LL YES ! ! !

I don't get to shoot as much as I would like too.. I don't have any safe queens. I have a few guns that I wont take on certain hunts.. For example, a opening moring dove hunt on a clear blue bird day, I will break out one of my Dad's shotguns.. If there is even a hint of rain or to much dew then the synthetic gets the call..
