My first handgun was a Colt Python. My second was a Colt 1911 .45acp. At age 16 I stocked a lot of groceries to buy that Commander. I've put a Videcki trigger, Novak sights, Ed Brown grip safety and Ed Brown ambi thumb safety on it, and a Chip McComick sear. I polished blued it, throated it, and polished the feed ramp. A good friend of mine gave me a pair of walnut grips with JT on them that Jeff Cooper personally gave him at Gunsite as a gift. Its the only centerfire auto I have right now.
COLT 1911...why is it that you cant own just one?
I currently down to only three and am always looking for more. Who else has this problem? Is there a cure--
