A friend was able to get a new production python yesterday. I had heard all manner of reports on how crappy the gun was made and any number of obvious flaws. This gun looks perfect. Not a blemish anywhere and it is slick as glass. The action is as smooth as it can be. The trigger is a little heavy on single action but DA and SA is so smooth. I am impressed with it

That’s the hard part. I think it was $1600. Plus tax I imagine

It would be hard for me to pay that when I could get an older model 27 Smith but I know how the Colt people are! 😃 I wish Smith & Wesson would produce a revolver like they used to. If they would just make a model 10 to start with I bet they would not be able to make them fast enough!
