You'll be happy to know that the match is very low-key and shooter friendly. There's even a wheelchair bound shooter who competes in this match. There are people of all types so you shouldn't have any problems competing. You move only as fast as you want to. Even if you don't score high at least you'll get practical defensive target shooting. Since it's based on IDPA rules you can compete using semi-auto or revolver.
So come on out, bring 5 bucks, about 120 rounds of ammo, your pistol and a hip holster, your favorite non-alcoholic drink(s) and your desire to have some fun.
