I heard the story on the radio today. I wonder what the real story is. They don't give many details. If the gun was a bushy hen it was most likely a stolen Leo gun. Guy is lucky the ATF didn't tear him a new one. Seems kinda light to me.

I agree with you two. I think the reporter doesn't know an automatic weapon from a full auto. And to be stolen too?? That's way to light unless he turned in someone who had several and he had stolen one of them. Even then, way way too light. Any of us would have been up for 10 years for an automatic weapon and several more for being in possession of a stolen firearms.

I was reading about it in the paper yesterday. Seems pretty light. I always thought it was something like a hundred thousand dollar fine and 10 years in jail.

he probably didn't steal it? Bought it from someone who did steal it otherwise i think he'd be in a bit more trouble...

and is that gun even a full auto? i don't think it is..
