I may have found a place to coyote hunt this fall. Any tips for a first time coyote hunt? Any gear that is essential?

I'll probably be in a shooting house. The guy said they have seen a bunch of them out of that shooting house.

lots of fun. take rifle and shotgun,unless you sale hides. now is good time to hunt coyote with does dropping fawns

I've only tried hunting them once per se...with Dirtyworks...The critters are pretty wiley

I've taken a couple opportunities when they have presented themselves just messing around during the day...I always have a rifle, shotgun and pistol in the truck

I sure hear a lot of em on the farm but its usually at night....a good call is essential...one that you can vary the types of sound remotely and from what I know you are gonna need a light as well...So a three man team might be good...One person running call, one person with Q-beam and a trigger man...

I sure would like to try my hand at it...cleaning on a beater Savage 22-250 right now...
