I owned a couple 55s and a 56. Never a 57. That is a nice one, good luck.

I had an uncle who worked at a downtown Jackson
jewelry store who would leave his '57 two tone parked
at our house just north of the New Capitol while he
walked the few blocks to work and his '57 was the
red and black two tone and he kept it absolutely
cherry for years until his employer closed up and
he had to change jobs; I wanted that car so bad
I could taste it.:lol5:

Got a 57 Bel Air sedan that technically belongs to my uncle. We’re eying a similar color blue, but two tone with a white top. Any repro chrome or stainless in yours? If so, where did you source it? We’re missing a few pieces that’ll need replacing.

Yer I replaced the grille front bumper and a few more pieces. I’m a cheapskate so I compared a lot of prices vs quality. Ecklers Classic chevy was where I ordered most of my parts. Some from Danchuk. Some from classic industries. Jegs and Summit offer a lot of parts. The shipping costs Varys a lot too

Megalicious.
I had a 55 shoebox in high school.
Nothing as nice as yours but, it was blue and white over blue.
265ci with a 2-speed powerglide transmission.
Compared to today’s cars...mine could barely get out of it’s own way.
