The eddystone has a rear sight and is shootable somewhat straightly lol.
The 1903 does not have a rear sight making accurate shooting difficult.
These won't be shot hardly at all but I would like the ability to hit a target relatively easily.
My question and reason for posting is to gain insight on the rear sight/scope mount situation. @Quickeye can PM me your thoughts if so desire.
I'd love to get scopes back on both of them but understand may not be feasible
The hook on the 1903 at the barrel rear sight position makes me think that he used a scope with a "jam-fit" front ring of some kind and use the modified rear aperture ring for adjustments with a non-adjustable target scope of some kind.
