Aight here goes from a Glocker. I looked at one at Academy I think, and the feel was not good to me. although my biggest problem was from the slide. the height of slide makes it real hard to "rack" due to being such a short height. my fingers were grabbing the frame along with the slide and it didn't seem right. Now, for a small hand shooter, this may not be a problem, but for me (medium hand size) it wasn't right.

Cz makes a good pistol and there full size is nice. don't own one, but have shot one and it was a good shooter. :2c:

I agree with g.o.d. They are really well built guns owned a 75b and it was an excellent shooter want a sp-01 also love the baby eagles/jericho 941's which are 75 clones I say if you like the gun give it a try you can always trade or sell it if you don't like it the slide thing you can get use to.

Oh and one thing is cz's have a break in period they will jam and FTF a good bit the first few hundred rounds because they are real tight took about 350 rds through my 75b before it became reliable which some folks don't like because they want a gun to work out of the box. Just something to think about if you plan on shooting a lot it won't be a problem.

Cant run the comp models in production. The like them for a smooth trigger job that can be done on them, and their slide and frame rail design is tighter than most facotry guns. THey will convert to XDs once they feel the trigger on mine.

yeah i want to try it myself. R, have you checked out the little CZ he's talking about? way different than the full-size IMO. the big one is nice, but the small , they can keep. If you check it out, you'll have the same opinion i'm sure. Dang that slide is thin.

I have the CZ Rami (a compact) in .40 S&W. They had a notorious FTF problem and the factory was slow to admit the problem. They never have issued a recall, but will work with owners if they complain enough. Not Ruger quality service!!!

A friend bought the same model and had the same problem.

Looks like the problem was weak mag springs all along.

My bad experience soured me on anything CZ as long as I have another choice.

The same gun (Rami) in 9 mm has been OK.

I love the CZs and all their clones. G.O.D i know what you mean about the small slide. I didnt like it at first with my baby eagle but i got used to it and am now able to rack the slide with no problem. so e.martin like anything thats new and/or different it might take time to get used to but if you get one and give it a chance i think you'll be very pleased after the break in period
