I’m planning to be there for all 3 relays.
D-Day Commemorative matches 6/3/23 at MRPC (M1 Carbine, Garand, Springfield/VintageBolt, Modern Military)
Saturday June 3rd at Magnolia Rifle and Pistol club, we will host a special D-Day anniversary match. The gate will be open by 7:00 for setup with the first match starting at 8:00. We'll be on range 5.
Match fees will be $15 for the first match registration and $5 for each additional match. We’ll plan to have achievement pins so bring your best score!
Relay 1 will be M1 carbine and start at 8:00 (firing points at the 100yd line). 40 rounds plus 5 sighters.
Relay 2 will be Garand, Vintage bolt, 03 Springfield and Modern Military and will start immediately after relay 1 (approx 10:00ish). 30 round course A plus 5 sighters.
Relay 3 will be same as relay 2 and start immediately after (noonish).
Even if you’re not shooting in relay 1 please arrive before 9:00 as the gate will be closed at 9:00 to those without membership badges.
If you’re planning on attending please post up here or respond to [email protected] with your name and what you’re planning to fire (Carbine, Garand, Vintage bolt and/or Modern Military). Walk ups will be welcome, but signing up early makes my life easier on knowing how may target stands to put up and how much food to bring for lunch (provided).
Absolutely no rifles may be removed from your vehicle and brought to the firing line until given the ok to do so by the match director. All rifles must be unloaded and cased with the muzzle pointing downrange. If not cased, such as in a range cart, the muzzle must be pointed up. Chamber flags are required. If you do not have one, see the match director so that you may borrow one.
