DA/SA Sigs are great, but...

...single-action Sigs are fantastic.

This little gem found its way into my hands recently.

It's an X-Five Tactical (9mm) with a Dawson fiber optic front sight and Nill grips. Fantastic shooter - wish I could say the same about myself.

I think this is my fourth Sig; the first three were all DA/SA, but I only still own one: a P226 Navy. The trigger on it is far better than the other two that I had (P220 Carry Elite and P239 SAS second gen). Those had the Short Reset Trigger feature, which my P226 does not. I'm not sure if it's as simple as "SRT triggers don't feel as good as older, standard-reset triggers," but that has been my limited experience.

I also saw that the above picture was hammer down, safety off - a big no-no in the Taking Cool Pictures With Guns guns. Lay off me, it's my first SAO pistol!
No, I bought the grips with the gun (in addition to the original plastics) - both "pre-owned." The fella that I purchased it from owns several X-Fives, I believe, and he had them on hand and was willing to sell them with the gun.

(I had a pair of Nills for my P226 but sold them, unfortunately)
