So I bought a Daniel Defense Delta 5 in 6.5 CM. I mounted a 5-25 Vortex Viper PST II on it, and took it out today with some Hornady Match ammo. Somehow I pulled off a 0.280” group at 100 yards. Then I went back to my normal 3/4-ish inch groups. I think it is safe to say the gun is not the limiting factor with my accuracy today. Haha
I got lucky though. I threw it on the 4 wheeler and was backing out and smacked the suppressor against the post. 🤦🏻‍♂️ it just about fell off the 4 wheeler. Before i ever even shot it. Not used to that 24” barrel with a 9” suppressor hanging off of it. I like the rifle. I need to try to adjust the Timney trigger a little bit. It’s just a little on the heavy side.

I think I’ma like it. Definitely see that I’m going to need a better bipod. That Caldwell just ain’t gonna cut it.

I can second the Magpuls never have ponied up the money for an Atlas but don't have anything nice enough to justify it. Very nice looking rifle

Last night I was looking at Area 419. I like their ARCA rails and bipods, as well as the other accessories they are compatible with. May have to save up and get something from them.

I know it’s a new gun, but how’s the action? How would you say it compares to a Bergara Premier?

I haven’t used a Bergara Premier , but I’d say it isn’t as smooth as the Bergara hunting rifles I’ve used. I am hoping it smooths out with use. I think one of my issues is with the rifle on 25x, the throw lever on the scope is just over the bolt in its up position so I can’t work the bolt like it should be worked. I may turn the throw lever to where it is straight up at 25x, but that would keep my from using the lowest power settings.
