Wanted to share my good fortune...I was able to purchase this Colt 1911
manufactured in 1917.

The cost?

$600 shipped - Deal? I think it was freaking awesome!

Thats amazing, I hope to collect 1911s one day (when I can afford it) and I definately hope to get deals like that.

Can you look up its history etc. by using the SN like with garands?
