    Had that last night. I ate cornbread and buttermilk tonight. Dr told me to lose weight.

    That looks good. When Kroger runs the loins on sale I usually buy 2, get one sliced to fry or grill and the other to cook whole.

    I've always done them whole then sliced. That looks good. Never thought about slicing it first

    I had cornbread tonight, too. Only mine was with Great Northern beans and sausage.

    One of my grandkids shot about a 70# doe a couple of yrs back. Deboned and then deep-fried the HQers just like a turkey. Damn fine eatin.

    Sunday; visiting my Sister in Texas, fixed Shrimp with poblano sauce & strips with flour tortillas to take to her middle daughters fajitas night.
    Monday; fixed about 2 gallon of Shrimp gumbo, with shrimp stock ,rice.

    Worked in Seguin TX late 70's and early 80's. They did not know what a boiled peanut was.
