I have two of them. One a shorter handguard and another longer. Very well put together stuff. Had a problem with the longer handguard upper, in that I was snatching case rims off and having to knock the empty out. No probelm with the shorter handguard upper. I contacted Del-Ton preparing to ship it back. Both were bought at the same time and was told that they had had some issues with the longer uppers having rough chambers. The barrels had come from Savage as they had not started making their own longer barrels yet. (that was the story anyway). I opted to polish it myself instead of shipping back hassle, and have had no problems since. have shot many rounds through it. That was year and a half ago so maybe that is not a problem anymore.

I Had one,, it worked great. i finally burnt the barrel out, but it would do 5-6" groups at 300yds with irons with Cheap Tula ammo.

My friend's is 100% reliable and Ive heard nothing but good things about them, however you might be waiting awhile for a rifle kit if you decide to go that route.

And don't believe the "ships in 1 to 2 weeks" statement. One month and counting for my wait.
