It was developed and bottled in Biloxi first. I remember my cousins coming down from Memphis and buying a case to carry back because they couldn't get it there.I always heard that Barq's was invented on the gulf coast, Biloxi maybe, no
reason for restaurants in their area to not carry Barq's.
