I like the flavor of Barq's but I hate that it has caffeine. When I drink root beer, it is usually at night when I'm avoiding caffeine. A&W is too syrupy sweet for me. My go-to root beer is Dad's if I can find it.

There was some available, I just don't use it. Stop eating spicy food about 15-20 years ago because of stomache problems. Can't believe how good food tastes with just a little seasoning instead of a lot of spices.

I always heard that Barq's was invented on the gulf coast, Biloxi maybe, no
reason for restaurants in their area to not carry Barq's.;)

It was developed and bottled in Biloxi first. I remember my cousins coming down from Memphis and buying a case to carry back because they couldn't get it there.

I have but the wife doesn't like the angel hair pasta, she says its to thin so she buys the thin vegetable pasta.

Grew up on A & W in missouri. old enough to remember 25 cent coneys on tuesdays. Got me through some lean times. mama burgers and papa burgers. Yum.
