I like the flavor of Barq's but I hate that it has caffeine. When I drink root beer, it is usually at night when I'm avoiding caffeine. A&W is too syrupy sweet for me. My go-to root beer is Dad's if I can find it.

There was some available, I just don't use it. Stop eating spicy food about 15-20 years ago because of stomache problems. Can't believe how good food tastes with just a little seasoning instead of a lot of spices.

Love me some Barq's. I get downright aggrieved when I go to a restaurant in south MS that doesn't offer Barq's.

I always heard that Barq's was invented on the gulf coast, Biloxi maybe, no
reason for restaurants in their area to not carry Barq's.

It was developed and bottled in Biloxi first. I remember my cousins coming down from Memphis and buying a case to carry back because they couldn't get it there.
