I'm about an hour north of Wiggins, but you are welcome to come up....shoot off bench to 150... or on the other side of pond up to 300 yds... PM me if interested. Smoffett has been over many times... also I thought there was a range somewhere around Lumberton...... Tom

Found it: South MS Practical Shooting Assn... US Hwy 24, Poplarville 601-818-2050...

You can drive ove to Nasa and shoot. Several place there that everyone shoots at. Not the cleanest spot in the world to shoot but can shoot well over 100 at some of the spots. Take 90 west to 607 and turn south on 607. Going south on 607 take the first road to the right and then take the next crossroad to the right. There will be a place on the right about a mile or less down that road.

There's a really nice range near Slidell. It's busy but extremely well run with very knowledgeable and safe rangemasters. Don't know if Slidell is close to you, but if so, let me know and I'll get the info from my brother.

Okay I'll track this info down. It's in the middle of a park -- something like Honey lsland Swamp, or something like that. Let me work on it... OK here it is...

They have a license requirement that's kinda weird. When you get to their home page, click the "Information" link on the left, and then scroll down to their little flow chart that will help you decide what kind of license(s) you need to use the range.

I didn't even realize that was what it was called. I haven't been out that way in over a year so I wasn't aware of that. My stepson still shoots out there somewhere. I wil have to find out where he is shooting at now.
