Got a small coon problem. Anyone use or used them?
Yes and they work. Where are you located?
Yes, they do work. Just put a little dry cat food in it.
I've got a couple big live traps. Cat food is good but a can of tuna is better. You can get all the cats and coons in the neighborhood. My record is 19 cats in 19 nights. I used to live next door to the crazy cat lady when I was a kid
Strawberry pop tarts, I've set 5 in a plot less than 10' apart and caught in all five on multiple nights.
Those traps are cool, I didn't know there was such a thing. I looked through their website, hoping to find some dog-proof beaver traps, but I guess they don't exist. I really don't know anything about trapping, but my father-in-law is the Real Deal. We have talked about putting out traps for the beavers here in my ponds, but I am afraid all I will trap will be my two dumb Labs.
I'm in Columbus.
They're sold in West Point at Dukes Pecan, picked up a couple yesterday. Coons are eating all the hog bait, but I'm gonna fix their little red wagon.
Beaver traps go in the water in a run don't see how a lab will get in one. Dukes also had hundreds of beaver traps when I was in the warehouse, call them 662-494-6767, great people!
