There are actually photos of Germans with MG34 or MG42s training to fire at aircraft in this position back in WW2. . . Wouldn't want to have to do this firing at Khadaffi's jet aircraft. WAAAY too fast. Helos maybe.

i have seen those pics to. the ones that cracked me up the most was seeing pics of these steep 45degree hills the germans built and parked panzer tanks on them so they could lob shells farther
