Only 23" long but weighed 5 pounds even. Photo doesn't do it much justice in regards to how fat it really was. I caught a 25" speck about 2 week earlier and it only weighed 4 pounds. We caught 11 legal specks and 1 27" red fish that weighed 7 pounds. This would have been a good spawner to release but I caught it on a mirrolure and it was gill hooked pretty bad and I wasn't sure it would make it.

Nice trout SJ. We caught a few Saturday morning. I'll post a couple of pics on new thread this evening. Knats were really bad though.
