I’m looking for FFL that takes privately shipped guns from another state for transfer around Magee. So essentially from Jackson to Hattiesburg north to south and the same east and west. A hour from Magee in either direction works for me. Thank you in advance.

Got it. Thank you. I’ll text him.
If anyone has another option let me know.
Not near Magee but I believe Tylertown Sports Center will do this. 601 876 2622. Ask for Stevie and tell them PZ referred you. Good luck.
Pretty much ALL of them will. I've only ever found a couple instances (deep blue states) where an FFL would Not take a direct shipment from me.

This is a great tool for finding local FFLs you may not know of. Just plug in your zip code.

No one near me on that list answered the phone, or called me back if i left a message. Just bumping this up so maybe someone else sees this...Thanks guys.

I’ve had some shipped to Guns N Gear in Madison 601-707-5713. They received the shipments from out of state FFL‘s and did the transfer to me.

He's specifically looking for shipments from a Private Individual, not From an FFL.

I had to work overtime to find an FFL that would do it for me in my neck of the state (DeSoto County).

Good luck.

Wow, that's terrible...

I've shipped dozens Out of state, only ever had to get an FFL involved on my end Once (New Jersey, I think)

I was gifting a firearm (handgun) to a family member, out of state/NE US. I had to go FFL to FFL.

When I bought an out of state Garand from a private individual, I used Shooter’s Discount in Summit.

Edited for those that can't follow context clues..

Handguns have some special rules for folks who aren't FFL holders.
We can't ship them USPS (FFL holders can, with some special requirements)
FedEx and UPS have additional restrictions on how they will allow them to be shipped as well.

That is absolutely untrue. Handguns can be shipped through USPS. I have them shipped to me basically on a monthly basis for repair.

Hey guys. Thank you for all the info. I found a local FFL to do it for me. He is the only one around here that does it.

No, it isn't. At least not for a non-licensee. Which is what we've been talking about here.

Per the ATF's website under the non-licensee section "...Handguns are not mailable. A common or contact carrier must be used to ship a handgun."
