who on here has there FFL? I am buying a piece online and need one in the Jackson area to do the transfer for me.

Might not be a bad idea for a list of FFL's on here for other members to use and help them out.

Also, what does your gunshop charge you to transfer around town.

I know Great Southern in Pearl charges $25

So being that I'm only 2yrs. old to MS, I found a site that could help us out in this little venture.
http://fflgundealers.net

I'm not sure how accurate this info is on this site, but I hope that it can help some of us. I don't know if it will list "Private" FFL dealers or not; then again I'm not sure just how "Private" FFL license holding is.

One nice thing about this site is it will link you to a "Google Map" of the location and make getting directions a little easier.

Also, they have an iPhone app for all of you iPhone folk out there.
Search for "FFL DEALER IN MISSISSIPPI" on google.
Can see the folks in Grenada are way too high on theirs. Most are $50 bucks or so.
I am located North of Grenada, and I have a FFL.
I'm with Bunker Hill Enterprises out of Lawrence, MS. We'd be happy to handle any transfers for ya'll.

WOW, thats crazy. I would find another place or drive a lil.
Surplus city in clinton charges $50 for transfers... Yet another reason i dont shop there.
I have a small shop outside of Yazoo City and I do FFL transfers for $15.00. You can call me at 662-746-1000 or visit my web page www.yazoogun.com. Thanks, Phil
Gun Ho Pass Christian

I know this is not in your area but for those on the coast Gun Ho in Pass Christian charges $25. But the kicker is they are really nice. Not like they are doing you a favor. I have done business with Dad's for years but it always seems like a hassle. First, it is always a madhouse and second it takes forever. If you are close try Gun Ho.

I've bought a couple of guns from Lonnie's.
Nothing special on price, but they had a Ruger Gunsite which I got cheaper than I could online.
I have no idea why they charge so much for a transfer (I was quoted the same amount), unless they think you'll buy from them instead.
I just started using J & H Guns($20.00). They are in the same building as the Polaris dealer on Hwy 72E.
I'm picking up a M-N 91/30 from them tomorrow. I'll let you know how things went.
EDIT...Good folks to work with, no attitude. Got another 91/30 coming in Tuesday.
