Looks like you need 16 gauge sheet metal put on the bench to try to beef it up enough to keep those legs in place. I don't see this one coming apart any time soon. You could put all the bullets you can fit on the shelf under the bench and it wouldn't even notice it.

The bench top is 2 1/2" Sanded Pine BC glued and screwed together. The top shelf is 1 X 12. It weighs between 200-300 lbs! I believe I need rigs hernia doctor now!!!!

That's the wife's Mother Day Present from our daughter. It's also the next project as she wants it painted like a real one. I told her I'd buy a brush and the paint and she could have at it. All I got was the "look"!

Dr Hendricks in waynesboro, and from what I can tell on my first day a good one to.

Sure is very life like, and will look great once painted.

Oh the look get them all the time.

The bench is a fine one even if it will take 4 grown men to set in place. But it will be there once in place and would not for see it moving while in use thats for sure. Great job.

Really like the legs and I like the partition on the center shelf so you can separate brass and bullets from primers and powder. That's going to be a nice place to sit and load!

Looks great Sandy. How many rednecks does it take to move a sand_man built bench?
