I got the rifles and cleaned them up a bit. The first 2 photos are the H&R M1. It has all H&R parts including the proper combed stock with sans serif P on the grip in a circle.





The following are Springfield M1 photos.





The stock still has the Springfield red color in the stain.

Both rifles measure 1 in the muzzle and 2 in the throat. The Springfield has quite a bit of upward pressure between the barrel and forearm
