About 3 years ago we decided to sell our house and land to downsize since all the kids were grown. I moved all my guns to storage except for a handful. We finally finished the new house and moved in on Jan 4. Yesterday I finally got the last of my guns out of storage and into the new house. It's great having them all back where I can handle them again. Now I've got to do a lot of cleaning.

Congratulations on your new home. When I saw the title and OP of this thread, I figured Marty had dome found a Holy Grail in the back, dusty corner of some out of way pawn shop, I don't know maybe a 98%S &W Registered Magnum for less than $700 ?

Are you still in Brandon? We are thinking about selling (5br 4b) house and downsizing but everything is so expensive right now that we may just stay where we are.

Congratulation!!! There's much to be said for downsizing. We sold our house (~2700 sq ft) last year. And am building on some acreage now (1600 sq ft house / 1600 sq ft shop), 40x80 metal building house/shop. I lucked out and the guy that owns land next to mine let me put my safes in his shop. But I cannot WAIT to get everything in the new place.

And yes, @dhollis51 , we are getting closer.... and your cerakote job will be the very first. LOL

We sold our house and land then bought a small house in Brandon to live in while we built. We now have a Brandon mailing address but are in the county. I'm so glad to get out of the Brandon city limits. The Brandon car tag and property taxes are high.
