I have a few questions (i read the thread on what guns to use)
1) I am concerned about getting an abundance of marks from usiing speed loaders and moon clips on my revolver. Is there anything that can be done about to reduce/prevent it? Not sure what you mean?
Well, the DW revolver ( esp the 15-2) has been out of production for a long while now. So when buying a used one ( which they ALL are now) one of the things you try to look out for is one with straight line scuff marks on the side plate. This can indicate the gun was used (and rather hard) with a speed loader. Since generally the gun is being bought over the internet where you can't cycle the action yourself, this can be an indication of a well worn (worn out) gun. Be that as it may, while certainly no safe queen, I am just considering to what extent I am willing to punish the finish in that way.
