Re: Food Storage FAQ and Water Storage Info!

Most of us here on the coast have a spring ritual. We start buying extra cans of easy to heat items and jugs of water. Most hurricanes mean two days to a week with no power. Water and food is pretty easy to get after the second day. I try to keep a weeks worth of stuff. I use it when camping and hunting in the fall and start again in April.

Yeah, we rotate the water and food when we go camping. The food is a lot of perishables so we need to look at packeted food for a few meals to see what we like and don't (get long enough and all of it will all be good).
